Links

You gotta check these out! The following are lists of links to other websites. I've listed them here either because I have found them valuable and/or because they're simply awesome. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your journey!

Blogroll

This section has a list of links that point to blogs, you know, weblog sites. If I recall from decades ago, this kind of list of blog links used to be called a blogroll, and in some more specific cases (to help with online discovery of content) they might be called webrings. Frankly, I don't know what the web kids call these nowadays. Do they still call this a blogroll, or are they bookrolls maybe, or something new like jellymarks? ("Jellymarks" because they're bookmarks that "stick", you know, like stick to this static webpage...Like how jelly sticks to bread, and...Ok, I'll show myself out now. )

Podroll

Ok, this is similar to a blogroll, in that, it is a list of links to other web destinations. But, unlike a blogroll (which typical points to blogs), this list of links points to podcasts that I like or recommend. I blame, er, applaud Robb Knight for the inspiration for this list...I mean, I've had my own list of links as well as seen plenty of blogrolls - literally they've existed for decades. But, I'll admit I only saw my first podroll list/page - one actually labelled that, like Robb Knight's Podroll - on February 16, 2025. I thought that I'd seen it all...But, on that date in February, I learned that a little nuanced twist of a previously-known concept might be enough to change perspective just enough to brighten the day! Thanks for the inspiration Robb! So, what follows is my list of favorite podcasts that you might want to visit, er, listen to:

This section is simply a set of random "other" links that don't exactly fit into the blog nor the podcast type of link exclusively. Think of these as sort of miscellaneous in nature...Its also possible that there might be a website that is both a blog and a podcast, and I got lazy and did not want to list them on both of the above categories...so just listed them below for ease and brevity.

  • webhint
    • This site seems to help "...improve your site's accessibility, speed, cross-browser compatibility, and more by checking your code for best practices and common errors..."
    • I can see myself using this in the future!
